Summary
Jazz has a few problems. Problem one, the Autobots are being poisoned. Two, figuring out who’s behind it and stopping them is proving harder than anyone expected. Three, he’s found a fix for both of those but it depends on Soundwave, the most loyal Decepticon in the whole army, helping him.
And if there isn’t a good reason for Soundwave to cooperate with him? Well, Jazz will just have to make one.
“An easy course and following winds,” Jazz says to the two aliens first, because the possibility of imminent violence is no excuse to violate social niceties with these guys. And then just for Soundwave, he says in English, “You know these guys are planning to screw you over, right?”
He steps lightly into the room, moving so casually you’d never know it puts him in point blank shooting distance of a sworn enemy.
“Hold your fire for just a sec,” he continues, baiting the hook, “and I’ll prove it.”

Summary
The Lost Light and its crew made the jump to a new universe; it could be virtually identical to theirs, or it could be fantastically different. Either way, it’s a universe brimming with potential.
That potential includes running into this universe’s Deadlock.

Summary
It’s been a long road, and finally Soldier 76 and Reaper are on the cusp of finding the people who destroyed Overwatch. They had to work together to get this far, but now they’re at a crossroads; once they’ve got their answers, do they leave things as they are and go their separate ways? Or do they take the chance to rebuild things between them?
“There’s a voice at the back of his mind shouting that this is a stupid thing to do, that he’s just asking to get hurt, but Jack is already near crushed under the weight of regret over things he could have done and didn’t. There’s a limit to what he can carry, and losing Gabriel again without even trying to hold on to him is far beyond it.”

Summary
It’s Gabriel who suggests the road trip; they pack up their stuff and just go, starting at one of the more northern beaches on the west coast and following the coastline down before swinging in to LA to visit Gabe’s family. Call it taking the time to see the world they saved.

Summary
Jack and Gabriel have been drifting apart by slow degrees for years, but it isn’t until Ana dies that Gabriel realises how great the distance between them has become.
“Sometimes change is honest; it comes as a sudden, sharp shock, upfront in its abruptness so you can’t miss the moment when the world shifts under you. And sometimes it’s insidious; it creeps in so subtly that you don’t know what’s happened until it’s already over, when you look up and find yourself lost.
It’s the latter, here, in an office that feels more like a statement than a workspace as Gabriel tries to find some shred of Jack in the impassive Strike Commander.”

Summary
Written for Reaper76 Week Day 2 - “In His Shoes” - Role/Body Swapping, in which a bodyswap opens the door of a nefarious opportunity, Gabriel has to make a choice between living with his past and torching his future in the name of it, and Jack doesn’t have a good time at all.
Gabriel’s had years to master his new powers. He’s had time to learn how to stay solid and only wraith when he wants to, how to not accidentally devour anyone he comes into contact with.
Jack hasn’t.
“Reaper looks over to see –
Himself.
Himself in a state he hasn’t been reduced to since he got a handle on his new state of existence. A thick column of black smoke writhing and twisting in on itself, the vague suggestions of solid shapes at the dark heart of it ripping apart within seconds of coming together. It looks like it should be as loud as it is violent; accompanied by metallic shrieks like rending sheet metal, or the wet screams of a prey animal set upon by wolves. But it doesn’t make any sound at all. It’s shrouded in the kind of silence found in dead, empty spaces.
Reaper’s seen this before – lived it – but never from the outside.”
