A narrow escape is nothing unusual. There had been many in Lar'dha's career--from walking into his own trap as an Unblooded, to nearly losing a leg to a camouflaged crocodilian creature--but he'd never escaped death with a companion before. At least, not with a companion who wasn't a Yautja.
Her skills were undeniable, certainly, and rejecting her request to hunt the mastermind of their suffering wasn't something he was keen to do--it was personal, after all--but the question remained: what now? Even as an Elite, he didn't really know how to work together in a team anymore, effortless as it had felt at the time. But now it was different.
They could communicate. Coordinate.
Express themselves legibly. And that usually caused him conflict.
Nevermind he was noticing some... Strange and concerning behaviors in his companion, the serpent woman, Sjajende'kolii. Her containment had been much longer than his, her afflictions more intense and he could only guess as to what she'd been subjected to outside the walls of the holding cell, but if he knew anything, it was that even Yautja were not immune to certain... Traumas. They simply got used to it.
But she was not Yautja.

Seven years ago, Kaija lost her younger sister to a xenomorph infestation in their small desert town and was confronted by Elite Yautja cleaners. That confrontation led her to be locked up in a mental institution for two years followed by another five years, living half-alive. When another infestation brings back the same Yautja male, named Malice, she is claimed by him and taken to his home world of Yautja Prime.
With her world turned upside, Kaija must navigate the intricacies of this society. Except, the clan leader wants her to participate in a Rite of Passage, and its only with the help of Vikta, a mysterious human who lives there, and Malice, her kidnapper? that she might survive it. On top of all of that, Kaija must piece back together the fragmented history of that one night that started all of it -- and Malice holds the answers she needs.

In Imp city, a young, overly-cynical hellhound has spent the past four years of his life under the rigorous employment of a temperamental old imp from Wrath. One seemingly normal morning at his workplace, he rekindles a friendship once thought to be long gone, eventually leading him to meeting others of his kind at a party hosted by the Queen of Gluttony. For whatever reason, one in particular stood out to him- the hellhound girl who was acting even more awkward than himself. It takes an astoundingly short time for the two to realise just how similar, and yet how so different they really are.
However, as this bond is formed, he finds himself caught between the conflicts of two of Hell's overlords, both of whom being on their own twisted levels of madness and depravity. Keeping a steady mind during this gruelling, yet cathartic period proves to be difficult, and he must find some reprieve from his new relationship for himself, before his entire life is altered for the worst.

As Vesper comes to terms with his new and old life, he tries to fit in as a regular imp and enjoy life. Throughout this journey, he'll put his lethal talents to the test at his new job. Along with helping the members of I.M.P against their targets, their own issues, and both new and old problems that arise from Vesper's past life

Lord Moreau is a mysterious figure. The village people whisper about them in secret so that Mother Miranda might not hear them utter the name of her least favourite disciple. Apparently, they are unspeakably ugly, huge like a troll, and give off a smell so strong and foul that you'd know of their approach a mile away. Allegedly, they killed Salvatore, the fisherman, and stole his inheritance.
Even so, Lord Moreau is the one and only lord residing in the area that does not take, only gives. No employees of theirs go missing for they have none. They provide electricity for the whole village. The kids that rebel and swim in the reservoir on hot summer days return frightened but not gored, and during cold, harsh winters fish might appear in the market for those who need it.
It is a cold reality for the people of the village that scary things are holy. The disturbing nature of Mother Miranda herself, the creatures in the woods that are both her sacred creation and their damnation. The lords that thin the herd like they're nothing but sheep, revered and esteemed. Fear is an act of worship, prayer in the name of death an act of God herself.
If Mother Miranda is their deity; Lord Moreau is their saint.
