Summary
Lex Luthor happened to implement some… unnecessary commands in Ultraman’s software. The team helping him operate didn’t need to know about it—and certainly not Eve. This was between him and his clone of Superman. Maybe it was inhumane—but Superman wasn’t human, so how could misusing an idiotic clone of him be problematic in any way? Besides, Lex needs to get off somehow.

It didn't realize it was crying until the Other made a dismayed sound, something soft, like he felt for it. The salt from its tears burned its cracked lips and they licked at it, needing the moisture. It couldn't waste it. It didn't know the next time it would be fed, watered. He wasn't around to decide. It didn't dare try for itself.
The Other reached out again, like it had to touch its hair. One hand closer and closer until the palm cupped its face, broad thumb stroking away tears.
“Uh oh,” it said, instinctive, terrified.
“Oh, baby,” his voice was tender and strange. “What did they do to you?”
