There, underneath a crevice in the boulder he had shot at, was a familiarly colored yellow and black Autobot who had recently joined said faction despite his very young age. What the fuck was a Mechling doing on the battlefield like this?!
Starscream’s jaw clicked shut as he realized that even if this Youngling was an enemy, it was still just that. A fragging Youngling. It would be best to leave it here, seeing as there were no Decepticons around.

Getting ‘recruited’ by the enemy mafia hadn’t quite been in the cards for him. Or in the deck.
And Quackity had not been dragged unwillingly into Jshlatt's mafia just to become a babysitter after the ram dies and the Syndicate takes over.
Apparently this was now his life however. He just needs to make sure that said enemy mafia does not figure out he's not only an avian but also start to piece together his past.
(He had not planned to get attached. And he certainly wouldn't have expected them to get attached right back)
