Summary
Robbie was mindful to keep his distance, like they always did on these social gatherings. However, with each one it became harder and harder. Especially when the local moms just would not get the hint and leave the poor hero alone. And yes, Robbie also couldn’t get a hint, and yes, he was being a huge hypocrite about it, but no, he did not care. No one had the right to try to chat up his boyfriend while the villain was standing in the same room.

Summary
Robbie could physically feel the pain in his chest where his heart should be when he saw that defeated look. It seemed that the hero was barely holding it together.
However, the look was nothing compared to the smallness of the elf’s voice. The usual bravado, cadence, assurance with which he spoke – all gone. This was a quiet and trembling plea for help.
