Summary
Which is why the current events are entirely, painfully, Wei Ying’s own fault.
To be fair, he never claimed to have any sort of sense, especially when in regards to Lan Zhan. Wei Ying admits to this not reluctantly, as the legs of Lan Zhan’s ridiculously nice bed frame squeak in protest, the wooden banging of said frame against the wall just barely drowned out by the utterly pornographic moans coming from the twink currently being railed within an inch of his life on the aforementioned ridiculously nice bed. Railed by Lan Zhan, specifically. With Wei Ying, discreetly and unfortunately (?) directly underneath, the only things between himself and his roommate’s enthusiastically writhing body being wood, a cushion, and some random guy that Wei Ying didn’t even catch the face of. -

Summary
Lan Wangji was almost certain his husband had forgotten about today. Even his brother remembered, specifically allowing Lan Wangji the day off in advance. Alas, Wei Ying has never been known for his memory. Regardless, Lan Wangji thought he would be able to cajole him into playing along, at least until he remembered by himself. That was the entire purpose of this morning, up until Lan Jingyi burst in on them.
Evidently, plan A was failing. Time for plan B.

A-Yuan shrieked and Wei Ying couldn't reach these zombies, he'd run out of juice and he couldn’t catch his breath. The bike was barely upright, he couldn't keep it that way and use his sword at the same time, it was over.
He curled forward over A-Yuan and screwed his eyes shut to brace against the pain.
It didn't come. Something cool and clean rushed over his head and the zombie cries abruptly cut off.
In which Wei Ying is a necromancer in the middle of a zombie apocalpyse but that's only where he begins. Sometimes the darkest night brings the brightest dawn.

Wei Ying makes his voice bright and says, “Well, take this one!” and deposits A-Yuan into Mo Xuanyu’s arms, and this time the look on his face isn’t just an almost smile. A-Yuan fists a chubby hand in his hair and gazes that way babies do, open and amazed.
“Gah!” he says.
“Gah!” Mo Xuanyu says right back.
