Summary
Sunny is right, Quinn doesn’t think there’s a person in the world who doesn’t know about the Crosby pack. Sidney Crosby has one of the most well structured packs in the world, as one would expect from the ‘Hockey God’, though Quinn’s lost track of the actual members of Crosby’s pack from all the rumours and theories people spread online.
“Well, Crosby and his pack have run into an issue as of recently” Sunny continues as he starts opening the file in front of them, “with such a… diverse and highly functioning pack a strong centre is required. Crosby is without a doubt a strong alpha leader, however every pack needs its alpha and omega leader”

Summary
Quinn tries his best to appear happy, or happy enough that no one questions him. It’s not like he’s sad, exactly - he’s overjoyed for his brother to be drafted and so proud of him for going fourth overall. Just like he was beside himself when Jack went first overall.
The issue is… well, the issue is complicated. It’s mostly jealousy, mixed with a heaping scoop of loneliness and a sprinkle of insecurity. Jealous that his brothers will get to play together, lonely because they’ll be together without him, and insecure because - well, first and fourth overall. Not seventh.
So he pastes a smile on his face and knows that no one will look deeper because no one ever does look deeper at him. Even if he wasn’t smiling, they’d probably just think it was normal, because Quinn being serious or unhappy is normal. Jack’s the one with boundless energy and enthusiasm, and he’s certainly showing that now, and Luke takes after Jack more than Quinn, though a bit more toned down than Jack’s golden retriever demeanor. He’s practiced at putting up a facade, pretending things don’t matter to him when they actually do, setting aside his own wants and needs for his brothers’.

Summary
The last thing Matthew expected to hear when he woke up this morning was his five year old son announcing that not only has he found his favorite NHL team, but also his favorite player.
Matthew Tkachuk’s son is an Oilers fan. And to add insult to injury, he was also a Leon Draisaitl fan.
— — — —
What happens when you’re a pro hockey player and your son’s favorite person in the world just so happens to be your arch nemesis? You do what Matthew Tkachuk does: go along for the ride apparently.

Summary
“I wasn't. I mean, I was in Jack’s room last night. Like I slept there.”
He looked back at the couch, “So Jack slept out here?” Connor swallowed hard, trying to fight the inevitable grin he felt coming on, “No- like, we were both in there. Sleeping. And stuff.”
Dylan now looked a little more awake, despite the dark circles under his eyes. “Wait.” He paused for a moment, eyebrows shooting up comically. “And stuff? Connor, did you and Jack have sex last night?”
As soon as that came out, Connor put his hand over mouth, looking around like someone could possibly overhear.
Dylan smacked his hand away but didn't seem to care that Connor was still gripping his arm so tightly now, that he could see the imprint of white. He was a good friend like that.

Summary
No matter which team Charlie played for, he always hated subdrop and all the wild emotions that went along with it. And he wasn’t going to tell anyone about it now, not if he could help it. He wouldn’t be the needy, uncontrollable sub who was a burden on every other teammate—not anymore, not now that he was a professional. No reason he couldn’t handle subdrop on his own. No reason to be a bother to anyone.
—————
When Charlie unexpectedly plunges into subdrop following a winning game, he's too embarrassed to ask for help and tries to go through it alone. But the Bruins doms take care of their subs, and Charlie’s about to realize that his teammates aren’t going to stand by while he’s hurting.
