“Got a hot date or something?” Dabi asked.
And maybe he hadn’t nailed it after all. Oh! Unless this was one of those moments where he was supposed to try flirting, in which case-
“I don’t know. Do I?”
Dabi looked taken aback. Like he hadn’t expected that at all. He pointed to Shouto, eyebrows raised in question. Shouto nodded once. Then he pointed to himself, looking even more incredulous. So Shouto nodded once more in confirmation. Dabi blinked.
“Is your vision impaired?”
“What?”
“I mean, you see the scars and the staples and shit, right?”
“Yeah, my vision is 20/20. There’s nothing wrong with it”.
“So it’s your brain? Got it!”
“I’m sorry, what?”
---In which Touya lost his memory, took the name Dabi, and got a job at Hot Topic. Pretty much.

“Alright, welcome everyone! We have a new face with us here today”.
Touya snorted, and all eyes were on him for a couple of seconds before they returned to the newcomer in question. Clearly, they all knew him already. And yet-
“Shouto, would you like to introduce yourself?”
Shouto blinked. And blinked again. He awkwardly stood up and bowed into the circle.
“Hello. My name is Todoroki Shouto”.
And then he sat down.
The room fell silent, aside from Touya, who couldn’t stop laughing.
---In which society is still adjusting post war, and Touya and Shouto end up in group therapy together.
Coffee is had, TV:s are bought, emojis are emoted, things get awkward, and somehow... a Janet gets bullied out of therapy?
It's a lot more fun than it sounds, promise.
