Summary
Temporal fractures start tearing holes in reality so UNIT decides to assemble a chaotic team of former companions and emotionally repressed disasters to stop the world collapsing completely.
Unfortunately, the instability seems to feed on unresolved feelings, which becomes a bit of a problem when Tegan and Nyssa are forced to fake a relationship for the sake of spacetime, Ace discovers Mel is jealous, Kate and Osgood continue dancing around their feelings with absolutely no subtlety at all and Leela and Romana’s marriage hits a stumbling block.
In other words, eight dorks have six months to save the universe.

A diplomatic reception on the planet Virellia offers strange local refreshments. The Doctor tells them not to drink it but Tegan ignores him... so does Nyssa. Adric drinks two glasses.
What follows includes flushed cheeks, far too much honesty and a near-revolution. The Doctor is trying to stop Adric from accidentally becoming the next planetary governor while Tegan is trying not to kiss Nyssa.
Neither of them is succeeding.
