Summary
A nerd from Earth wakes up suddenly, inexplicably, on Gaia, the world of Final Fantasy VII - about a year before the events of the game kick off. She wakes up wearing the uniform of Shinra Public Security - and the bullets are flying. For managing to survive the ambush and turn a sure defeat into a victory, the lackadaisical command structure of Shinra decides to put a Captain's helmet on her and kick her back out to command of a deeply unloved unit, and she decides to make that everybody's problem. Personally scarred by memories from 1997, left in command of a group of ill-trained misfits, she resolves to make use of her newfound position to change the coming history, if no other parts then the bit relating to a certain florist and malevolently-wielded cutlery - whether or not the shrouded Whispers, the Planet itself, or a certain silver-haired prettyboy villain like it.
