Summary
After the Immortal Alliance Conference, Shen Qingqiu qi deviates. The deviation itself isn’t bad, but it allows Without-A-Cure to spread far further than it did originally, disabling Shen Qingqiu by a non-insignificant amount.
So when Huan Hua calls for Shen Qingqiu’s imprisonment in Jinlan City, Without-A-Cure makes it very clear that Shen Qingqiu can not be held in the Water Prison away from the medical attention he needs these days.
Instead, Shen Qingqiu is allowed to return to Qing Jing, provided he takes Luo Binghe back with him.

Luo Binghe's grip on Xiu Ya's blade tightened, and he realised with belated horror that his blood was running down the sword and dripping by Shen Qingqiu's feet. His sword had to be held at an upwards angle now, to reach the place where he pierced him back then.
Shen Qingqiu felt sick. There was something wrong in this dream.
“I ask you again. Do you regret it, Shizun?”

Shen Qingqiu can't answer whether he regrets betraying him. Luo Binghe wants his Shizun to understand how he suffered, and drags Shen Qingqiu into his dreamscape of the Endless Abyss that night.
The only problem: Shen Qingqiu isn't waking up.

Shen Qingqiu had thought he was doing a reasonable job at keeping the plot on track. All he had to do was condemn Luo Binghe's demonic heritage at the Endless Abyss scene, so the tyrannical System wouldn't kill him. Simple. Right? That was, until Luo Binghe decided to confess the truth far before the Immortal Alliance Conference.
Of course Shen Qingqiu knew that Luo Binghe was half demon, it was PIDW’s selling point and literally written on the cover art. Everyone knew that. But Luo Binghe wasn’t meant to tell him!
