Summary
Din Djarin has a firm path - take Grogu to a seeing stone on Tython, where he might reach out to the Jedi. It is the end goal he has worked toward for so long, but it will leave Din without an aliit - a clan. Is a Mandalorian a Mandalorian, if he has no other true believers to reinforce him?
This fic begins with Season 2: Episode 6, The Tragedy, but diverges from there. Tython is not on Din's star map. He reluctantly travels to Corelia, hoping to find an older star map that contains the planet's location. While there, Din meets a young woman who seems connected to Grogu. When the map still gives them only a clue to Tython's location, they leave together to search the frontiers of Wild Space. As Din leads his small corps through unknown dangers, can he also build a future that will sustain him once his quest, and his Foundling, are no longer there to set the cadence of his life?

Summary
Education and Armor, Self Defense, our Tribe, our Language, our Leader, all keep us alive.
Every child raised to be a Mandalorian learns these words, the Resol'nare. During his time in the fighting corps, they were drilled into Din Djarin's mind as much as fighting was drilled into his muscles.
He retains the first three. He has lost the last two, and now that he has been told to return the child, Grogu, to Tython, he is about to lose his Tribe as well. Can he continue to be a Mandalorian, having been stripped of so much?
As he searches for Tython, which is not on his standard starmaps, he has time to consider what his future holds. Having been unable to find another clan of true believers, perhaps he can make one of his own.
This canon-divergent long fic begins near the end of Season 2, and continues on through an alternate Season 3. It explores what it means to be Mandalorian through the introduction of an original character.
