“I have to go,” Mobius rushes out, “I have to go. I’ll be right back, baby, I promise.”
Loki’s mouth opens, and nothing comes out, and they can’t let go of Mobius’ arm despite his insistence.
“I’ll be right back, angel. I love you, okay?” Mobius manages to begin walking away, his eyes on Loki until the very last second, walking backwards now in his effort to keep looking at her. He finally turns away, stepping through the time-door, and that’s when Loki manages to get out a single utterance of Mobius’ name, “Mobius-” before he’s gone.
Or; Mobius and Loki never leave the other without a kiss goodbye.
