"Gen," Senku said, voice lower than usual. "Need to talk. Privately."
Gen raised an eyebrow, playful mask sliding into place automatically. "Oho? Senku-chan wants a secret meeting? Should I be flattered or scared~?"
"Look," Senku started, exhaling sharply. "Sapphire's... persistent. She's starting to interfere with work. Keeps showing up during critical experiments. Distracts the team. I need her to back off."
Gen tilted his head, amused. "So tell her you're not interested. You're good at being direct, Senku-chan."
"I did. Multiple times. She thinks it's 'tsundere' or some nonsense. Village girls hear too many old romance stories or something." Senku grimaced. "Science doesn't have time for this drama."
Gen chuckled. "Poor Senku-chan, the heartthrob of the stone world. What do you want me to do? Hypnotize her? Stage a dramatic rejection scene?"
Senku looked at him then—really looked. And there was something vulnerable in those eyes. Fear? Anxiety? It was so out of place on Senku's face that Gen's teasing died in his throat.
"No," Senku said quietly. "I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend."
"Excuse me?"

There's nothing Soobin despises more than working at Kang's Discs. Sure, the paycheck is nice and it gives him something to do in the afternoons, but the rock music blasting through the shitty speakers all day keeps him on edge at all times. Add Yeonjun to the mix - a rock enthusiast with black hair and green highlights that goes to the store everyday and leaves chewed gums underneath the shelves with his favorite albums - and you have the perfect combination to make Soobin turn into a ticking time bomb. The explosion was inevitable, expected even.

Soobin got in the elevator, turning around to face the doors. There was a shockingly good-looking man walking in after him. For a split second, he looked up. Soobin felt a weird tug on his pinky finger. Thinking that he must’ve accidentally gotten it caught in the cardigan of the woman next to him, he pulled his hand away. There was a surprised yelp from the good-looking man.
Soobin lifted his hand so that he could see. Connecting their pinkies was a red string. “I– I need to get out here,” Soobin managed. His soulmate nodded, leading the way out the doors onto the floor where Soobin’s desk was.
“This doesn’t even seem real,” his soulmate said. “I thought this kind of stuff only happened in the movies.”
“Me too,” Soobin replied. He was still in too much shock to properly respond.
“Well… what’s your name?”
“Choi Soobin,” he answered, trying not to let his voice shake. “What’s yours?” He looked down at the lanyard. Underneath his perfect photo was the name Choi Yeonjun. "... You're my boss."

The image of Wei Wuxian, breathing hard and uneven, his face drawn and his body taut with constant shivers, was a sharp contrast to his typically radiant and carefree appearance. Lan Wangji was struck by the sight, frozen in place, his heart thumping rapidly in his chest. He didn’t know what to do, how to help him.
(Or, Wei Wuxian is afraid of thunderstorms and Lan Wangji wants to help, but don’t know how.)

Summary
Fear tastes acidic on his tongue, the tingling feeling in the back of his head leaving him walking back home almost robotically, his head stuck in a haze only for his attention to snap like a twig upon hearing any sound around him, frantically turning left and right in search of a sign of danger that doesn’t come.
It serves as a painful reminder, that Jisung has been careless, reckless and now he’s let danger come too close to home. A reminder that he should do more to protect the people he loves the most, to keep them safe from the threats of being associated with Spiderman.

He takes a deep breath before slipping into the cave. The voice rings through the cave again and Jisung shivers.
“Hello? Do you need help?” he calls out softly. He slowly walks ahead, but he is met with silence. Jisung’s heart is thundering and he thinks about leaving, but this might be his chance to do some good, to be useful.
“I heard you in here, I just want to help,” he says. No response. Instead of a voice he only hears shuffling.
A glimpse of something is caught in the light of his torch, something iridescent. A huge bird? A jumping snake?
His heart drops and goes totally haywire. A gust of wind suddenly blows out the fire of his improvised torch.
A slap to the head knocks him out clean.Whack!
OR: Jisung is bored of his normal life and wants to feel useful again. Meeting a strange man and an injured dragon in a cave isn't what he had in mind, but he finds himself stuck there until the dragon is healed.
Helping Minho take care of Soonie might just be what he needed. -
