The more imposing he's become, the more he's desired, but not in any way that's meaningful. He's tried to seek connection a few times here and there, but what people want from him isn't something he can manage to give.
His stature has precluded him from gentleness, from reverence and care. It's devastating, but unsurprising. He is seen, not known. Observed but never understood. What more could he expect?

He woke up half-crushed on a futon with Jayce’s head on his shoulder, muttering in his sleep. There was a blue screen flickering in front of them—Hextech, he thought, for a terrified moment, before something in his blood told him they’d fallen asleep watching something together, a movie, which he sort of understood, even if he didn’t think he could explain it.
In the cold glow of the screen, Jayce looked strangely… exposed. It was easier to look at Jayce through the beady white eyes of a god, or his soul in the cosmos, than it was to look at what Viktor had done to him now. For a moment he touched their foreheads together—selfish, selfish—just to feel Jayce’s warmth on his skin. The illusion that he had started something instead of ending it, saved someone instead of ruining him.

His brows furrowed as he said so again, his authoritative voice leaving no room for discussion this time.God damnit.
Jayce immediately gave up on being the resolute one. It didn’t really fit him, anyways. His attempt was laughable at most.
He ended up sighing heavily, almost shrinking and turning into a miniscule embarrassment of a living being since Viktor appeared quite scarily serious, enough to get even a big man like him to avoid looking directly into his eyes, such as a dog being yelled at by its owner. He contemplated desperately for a comeback, but the logic was infallible: if he cared about pleasing him, he should let him do what he desired, no?Most importantly, he deeply desired it too.

Summary
Things are so confusing these days. Ximena's son and his girlfriend have apparently invited his best friend to live with them, which is not at all how things were done in Ximena's day. But in these modern times, everything is so expensive, so perhaps it's good for them to have an extra housemate to save on costs.
What's not good is when Ximena learns that Jayce and Viktor may be having an affair right under Mel's nose. Modern times or not, Ximena is appalled -- she raised him better than that! -- but she's going to get to the bottom of this and make sure he does the right thing.

Summary
Jayce finally makes a move to break the silence. “You-” his voice comes out as a croak, and he swallows. Tries again. “You really mean that?”
The incredulity to Jayce’s tone makes Viktor ache. He wants to rage, to unleash his ire upon those who have convinced Jayce that he is some sort of a burden, rather than the intelligent and competent young man that Viktor knows him to be. “When have I ever lied to you?” he responds simply.
The irrevocability to his words must be the thing to finally break Jayce. His expression crumples, and he tears his gaze away from Viktor, folding in on himself and burying his face into his knees even as his body stays angled toward Viktor’s. His shoulders begin to tremble ever so slightly.
Viktor’s veins are immediately awash in cold panic. He’s pushed too much, hasn’t he? He only wanted to assuage Jayce’s insecurities, not to … Gods, not to make him cry.
Jayce has issues with his self-worth. Viktor isn't going to let him suffer through them alone.

The day the world was clad in white, Jayce’s eyes saw nothing but black.
“Don’t do this,” Viktor whispered, tears threatening to spill from his own eyes. “Don’t leave me, not in your head. Not where I cannot follow, Jayce. Keep breathing.” There was raw desperation in that plea and Jayce would much later realize that what Victor had just said, meant he would have followed him anywhere else, outside in the bitter cold, or down the window. “Breathe.” Viktor urged again.

During their many years working together, they, of course, fall in love. It's so easy, easier than breathing, when the city is blistering with color, merchants and the echoes of life. Yet as Piltover gets burred under a thick, relentless snowfall, Jayce realizes that the day the world turns white, his eyes, are black. Images of Viktor lying dead in the snow haunt him; memories twisted wrongly by his own mind. Panic seizes him as inhales elude him and Viktor has to command him to live.
And he does. Foer Viktor, he does.

Jayce wakes up warm and comfortable, on his belly on a soft mattress, cocooned by soft, fur blankets. They’re on the outskirts of Ixtal, a secluded cabin deep in a rainforest seeped in magic, and Jayce can tell from the cool breeze wafting in from the ajar window that it had rained earlier, chasing away the oppressive humidity.
“Jayce,” a voice says, half Viktor’s pitched low, half that darkly familiar robotic burr.
“Mm, today a Herald day?” he mumbles into his pillow, shivering when he feels the cool metal of the third claw trace between his shoulder blades.
Sometimes Viktor wakes up in Herald form. Today, Jayce gets to enjoy it.

—And maybe sleep. He could use sleep, too, probably. He’s only been able to catch a few hours total for the past few days. At least this time there’s no falling grades to make it obvious, but judging by the concerned looks people keep throwing him it might still be, anyway.
