Summary
Frisk has faced danger and death many more times than any child should ever have to, but they aren't out of the woods yet. Being the first human in who-knows-how-long able to use magic has shoved them back in the spotlight. And just when their life was settling down into whatever counts as "normal" for the town of Ebott's Wake, where monsters sell ice cream and the gym teacher thinks anime is real.
It's nothing they haven't had to deal with before at this point, but that doesn't mean it's going to be easy, even with Papyrus taking over as Ambassador and the Finest scientific minds in the town working on a way to help Chara. Giddy with apprehension, he quickly scans the article previews that pop up. The first holds nothing of value—it seems to be more of a parent guide than an explanation for what he's feeling. The second result recommends looking up what it means to be ‘transgender’. He’s heard the term before, but only in passing. He searches it.
The first result shows an image to the right. A blue stripe, a pink stripe, a white stripe, another pink, and another blue. The ‘trans flag’, says the image description.
“Oh,” says Izuku, breathes it out like it’s heaven-sent, because he’s found it.
