Summary
Bucky Barnes has finally come home.
A year and a half after the events on the helicarriers, desperate for a safe haven and a chance to finally rest, Bucky takes Steve at his word and returns to the dilapidated row house in Brooklyn where he and Steve once lived.
Room by room, he slowly starts to fix up the house as he works on his own recovery, while Steve starts to circle closer and closer. It's not easy; it was never going to be easy, and as Steve and Bucky draw even closer to each other in their dance, there are new steps to learn and old wounds to heal.
But nothing has ever been able to stop these two boys from Brooklyn, and as they start to share food, trips to Home Depot, late night runs and eventually laughter, it turns out that Bucky isn't the only one who needs help healing.
That's only if Steve can get Bucky to believe in himself and the life they have started to build together, and convince Bucky to stay.

Once Bucky does find it in him to focus on something other than Steve’s exposed abdomen, he realizes something else very important about the getup that he hadn't noticed before. That’s not just any shirt that Steve is wearing. It’s Bucky’s. One he thought he’d gotten rid of over a week ago thanks to the hole on the sleeve that had accidentally been torn when he was trying to fix the track on the garage door that he’d accidentally fucked up by lifting too quickly with his metal arm.

Over a few months Bucky undergoes a secret mission to make Steve like his body again and to feel comfortable for the first time since he got the serum, focusing directly on his largest insecurity- his chest, or, his pecs to be exact. Through said mission he accidentally trains Steve to get turned on from random sensory input that crosses his chest.
Or, alternatively; Steve goes running and can't take the way his chest jiggles because it just reminds him of what happens when Bucky fucks him.
