She had tried to help the heroes where they needed, using her experience as a nurse to treat the less injured civilians caught up in the attack. You gathered soft blankets as well as shirts and other clothing items for your large nest on the new matress you'd bought. After a few minutes of shifting things around you were satisfied, and let out a happy chirp as you curled into the plushness of your new nest. It was so cozy you found yourself dozing off in seconds. But something seemed weird. Something was not right. But you were so tired now, so sleepy you just wanted to close your eyes and rest forever. As your eyelids fluttered and slipped shut, your last thought was, "I wonder if I'll still be alone when I wake up.."

Summary
The safety your bedroom provided had always been one of your greatest comforts. Its walls were adorned with symbols of your various interests, the balcony offered a nice (if you could call it that) view of the city, and your television was always a trustworthy way to relax after work.
Your bed was perhaps the best part— covered in warm, fluffy blankets— which still held the lingering warmth from having recently been taken out of the dryer. Normally, you might have snuggled into them and fallen asleep to whatever background noise was playing on the TV.
Of course, it was a little difficult to do that with Pierrot’s large form on top of you.

NEVER read this again. It was so so so so so good and absolutely PEAK!!! but heartbreaking. So yeah let's not put ourselves thru that torture again 😭 This fic made me fall very deeply in love with Cissa, Moony, Sev, and Padfoot 😭❤️ Roddie was such a complex character 😭😭 also, Bald Motherfucker deserves nothing except eternal abuse and rape in hell 🫶 same goes for the other pieces of shit mentioned.
