Summary
He almost jumps at the sound as his dog, Lud, barks in surprise. Henryk quickly stands, moving to answer his door, and nearly gapes at the sight.
Magda looks up to him, her bluish lips shaking.
“Oh, little duck,” he says softly, quickly ushering her inside. He corrals her to the chimney side; she’s shaking like a leaf. “Why are you outside?”
“Papa said I was bad,” she quietly answers, and Henryk hisses between his teeth. “Said I had to sleep in the barn until I was good again… but last time I was good only after a week, and I’m so cold, Sir Henryk.”
This is sad. Like really, really sad. Inspired by Shireen Baratheon's death in GOT, just so y'all know. Major Child Death, child abuse and grief.
EDIT: Now with an alternate ending in chap 2, still sad but more bitersweet for the interested.

Summary
“What if it had been Oliwia, buttercup?” Lambert asks.
Jaskier goes still. Little Oliwia, barely sixteen and still as naive as any noble child gets - if she had been sent as a sacrifice, that would have been - “Monstrous,” he says, through a dry throat. “That would be monstrous, and a grave insult to the Wolf, that anyone would think he would do harm to such an innocent - that he would be that sort of monster.”

Summary
" Jaskier steels himself for whatever threatening figure may come through the door. But when someone is shoved inside the cell, tripping over the hem of their uniform pants, something in Jaskier’s stomach plummets alongside his gaze.
The figure is small - no, his new cellmate is a kid, a girl, in fact, who could not possibly be older than ten or eleven.
“What the fuck?” Jaskier asks aloud as the girl is roughly handed a bundle of clothes and toiletries, and the cell door swings closed once more. Something has gone horribly wrong here. Nothing about this situation is computing. “No, wait, hold on. There’s a mistake here. What is a little girl doing here?” "
Or, Jaskier ends up responsible for a kid while in jail, and their ensuing escape

Summary
When they first burst into the man’s bedroom, Jaskier catches sight of a woman’s shift neatly folded over the back of a chair in the corner, but it’s not as if it’s the first time he’s taken someone to bed when they’re already spoken for. The heart wants what it wants, after all, and it’s not like Jaskier would be opposed to her joining in the fun if she’s keen.
Then, shoved by the man, he moves close to a chest and feels a prickle throughout his body.
A familiar, marrow-deep knowing fills him, an understanding that he could never verbalize.
There is a selkie’s pelt in that chest.
(Jaskier accidentally starts seducing people in order to free other selkies) (could have happened to anyone, honest)
(Separate storyline but in the same verse as the rest of this series)
