In Hermit City,
Factions like Heroes,Villains and Vigilantes are no surprise in this world, where people are either born with abilities or they aren’t.Surely, this city won’t be about love.
Well, Grian made a huge mistake. helping a hero, someone he swore he wouldn’t help in a million years, but he couldn’t help but feel pity towards the hero who’s bleeding in an alleyway at area 78—And maybe, just maybe, they are slowly falling in love with each other in the process.

He always made it a point to eat the players last, in some twisted way he enjoyed them. He didn't care about them, he had to make that clear. But he liked the company they brought. The smiles, the laughter, the questions both brilliant and dumb that would be asked. They were funny little creatures, so trusting. He liked them enough not to immediately pounce.
Verity would keep the facade of helpfulness and a bright attitude, until they started noticing the villagers going missing. Until there was no one left, but them. When they began to question him, when they started to pull away, that was when he’d strike.
He was still waiting for this one to pull away.

A recounting of how Verity and Mob met, and how their relationship forms. Verity is waiting for the moment Mob runs away, waiting to finally feast, only to see that the other... hasn't. And with that, Verity begins to look at him in a new light, which can mean nothing good for Mob.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
Grian has been a watcher since he was seven when the watchers saved him from his home world and took him in. He waited for years and years to finally get an assignment just like all the other watchers.
That day finally comes. His assignment is to infiltrate the hermitcraft server and earn the trust of the hermits so that he can take destroy the world from the inside. He fakes amnesia as an excuse as to why he's there. He's expecting the hermits to be awful people, but they're not.
What happens when Grian grows a little too close to the hermits, and who really are the evil ones here?

The avian finds a group, a bundle of people that calls themselves the ‘Hermits’, all from different walks of life, some even hybrids, who had joined the world and claimed it as their own! So now he’s tasked to figure out why everybody is so strange while ensuring they don’t figure out he doesn’t belong. Shouldn’t be so hard…
