But very soon, he comes to understand that even monsters like him can be graced by the Compact... even if his entire existence must be shattered to salvage what remains.
Set in the Human Domestication Guide universe, a sci-fi setting where plant-like aliens subjugate humanity to make them into pets. All characters are 18+ by the time the story starts.
