He could worship him if so given the chance, and Anakin’s almost sure that he would: the picture before him is all too much, the veins in Obi-Wan’s arms flexing in the dim light as he tugs Anakin closer, his hands so tight on his hips that he's almost sure he'll see evidence of it in the morning. There’s a bead of sweat on Obi-Wan’s forehead that Anakin can’t stop staring at, but then again, there’s so much to stare at that focusing on one thing by itself feels ultimately impossible.

Since the start of the war, Anakin's life has been spiraling out of control. So, it can only be cosmic justice when his body follows, and he loses control over his alpha voice.
Anakin defers to his usual tactics; he hides the signs and powers through on sheer grit and stubbornness. Besides, it would be humiliating for a proud alpha and capable Jedi Knight to reveal this weakness to anyone. As per usual, his plans go awry.
Out of options, he lets Obi-Wan scent mark him to calm his rogue alpha instincts. Although Anakin's pride is severely bruised in the process, it works.
A little too well, actually.
Because what's Anakin supposed to do when his instincts go haywire in a most un-alpha-like way? (Yes, he wants Obi-Wan's knot. No, he's not going to tell him — see aforementioned reasons)

Summary
Wesker lives, is stable, and makes a deal. He will remain in the shadows and not return to his old aspirations but in exchange he wants one thing, Chris. No tricks, no mind games, just 24/7 access to his old nemesis.
Chris is understandably untrusting but once he calms down, he starts using his free time in between missions to visit with Wesker in his remote place off the grid. Overtime, their relationship starts rebuilding until it finally boils over.
This takes place months into their arrangement.
