Summary
The year is 2195. Sonic and his friends are gone, and Shadow is the only one left in a world no one wants to live in. As a hitman working for a cruel company of killers, all he has is an AI Maria companion in his head who reminds him of the world he used to fight for. Eggman has long since left the physical world for his virtual paradise, and everyone who can afford it is flocking to his virtual world, hoping they can live forever; however, Shadow won't leave the world that Maria loved behind, no matter how ugly it gets. His hopes of saving her world from a slow, quiet death are restored when he finds Amy Rose who has survived as an outdated, defunct cyborg created by Eggman decades in the past.
