If Imogen Cardulo was successful with what I asked her to do, then I no longer exist. At least, not to the rest of the world.
I had to run. To hide. It was the only option after what happened at Draithus. I had to do it to protect her. To protect Tyrrendor.
This manuscript will be my only legacy. The only evidence that Sara Tavis ever existed. I write it not for posterity. Not for glory. Not for the damned scribes to keep, or more likely alter. I write it for her. She deserves to know the truth of her parentage and her destiny.
