Ever since they settled down in the farmhouse, it's been totally depressing and lonely. Raph's constantly watching a comatose Leo, Donnie's too busy distracting himself in his makeshift lab and April and Casey keep each other company from the distance.
Which leaves Mikey... alone.
It certainly doesn't help that his remaining bros get into screaming fights whenever they cross paths with one another—the both of them unstable as they are.
But Mikey had a plan. One that would successfully bring them all together. And the date marked on the last thursday of November would certainly give him a hand. But he's willing to bring his family back together even with the two haunting empty chairs at the table...
No matter what.

For an articulate man, Roy Mustang suddenly struggled to find the correct words.
Every variation the Colonel concocted within his head sounded flimsy, harsh, or downright wrong. Unsettled and sick, the silence stretched between them for a handful of heart-clenching beats as suspicious golden eyes narrowed, continuing to sear into Roy's soul. Realization reared its ugly head and delved a hand right into his chest, poisonous claws digging deep as it whispered odious remarks. He stared at the boy before him, feeling as if he was seeing him for the first time, an entire week's worth of denial crumbling away.
This couldn't be happening, but it was. It was happening, and he had been willfully blind to it like a pathetic coward. He'd chalked the flush of fever as something as simple as a cold. The same applied to the presumption of mood swings linked to age. Even the odd habits Roy had brushed off as quirks or stress...
Never once did Roy think something more malicious had been at play, until now.
"Edward I don t think you are very well right now."

The tiny scrap of metal, all that was left of Alphonse Elric, tumbled through the air. Edward lunged forward to catch the metal housing his brother’s soul before it hit the ground. Ed turned the piece of metal over, and the world he knew ended.

They hadn’t had much time in the recent months, and by extension years, to talk amongst themselves on a more personal level. It seemed to be a liberty they had very little of, ever since what happened. Edward had become more inclined to indulge his brother in any way he could, because of this.
