It becomes apparent, quickly enough, that she isn't ageing.
It isn’t noticeable, at first. She’s 30, but looks 20 something.
That isn’t unusual, per se. All faeries have a longer lifespan than their non magical counterparts. The rest of the Winx look just as fresh.
Then she hits 40, and looks the same. Hmm. Some are just blessed by the muses of beauty. The Winx don’t look their age, either.
Ageing will catch up fast enough.
Surely.
Except it doesn’t.
Now she’s 80, barely looking a day over 25. The same age she’s looked for 55 years. While everyone around her is fading.

Nor did she ever, in a million years, think she would marry Uchiha Madara… but here she was.
In the Warring States Period.
Outside the temple, she built for Kurama.
In a shiromuku next to Madara who looks stupidly handsome in his montsuki with the Uchiha fan on his back surrounded by her Haruno circle of unity.
Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.

It was then that the pinching feeling disappeared from his wrist, the same one that was the sole contact between him and Phil.
“What were you doing?” He asked.
“Checking your pulse,” Phil replied.

Or, Tommy gets trapped underneath a collapsed building after a hero-villain fight gone wrong. It just so happens that the notorious villain 'Angel of Death' is trapped there with him.

“Check what?” Wilbur whispered back, wrapping Tommy’s (kind of) injured hand up in both of his own.
Tommy swallowed down the lump in his throat, figuring he might as well say it outright. “I needed to check if this was real or not.” A pause. “Dreaming. I needed to make sure I wasn’t still dreaming.”
or, even though it's been nearly a year since Tommy was rescued, he still deals with the after effects of 404's dream manipulation.

One of the many impossible magical stories of the forest is now directly in front of him.
He should have never trusted that damn crow.
Techno takes a few steps back, clutching the bag on his hip he was gonna fill with mushrooms. He's glad he's smart, he's glad he listened to the caretakers about the forest. Because a new danger is in front of him and he needs to run.
Techno turns, thinking of doing just that.
"It's rude to leave without saying hello ya know." A small voice, that of a young child, speaks behind him.
Techno freezes where he is.
Slowly he turns to see someone in the circle.
Not just any one though.
A child.
Or
Techno goes to find some food to last winter. Ends up finding something else.

“So are you like, in love with him?” Phil says idly one night, when he’s sitting cross-legged by the fire and Ranboo has come over to share the silence with him and Techno is out doing God knows what, God knows where. (If asked, Phil could probably track him down without a second thought; regardless, there’s love in the way that he knows he doesn’t need to. Techno will be fine without him.) It’s almost comical, how fast Ranboo’s head jerks up to look at him.
“It’s complicated,” Ranboo says, sounding instantly on the defensive.Or: Ranboo explains QPRs to Phil. Phil, who has been in a QPR since centuries before Ranboo was born, finds it all very amusing.

However, after accidentally getting involved with fae, they seem to be adamant about not losing him, for whatever reason. Then, suddenly everything Technoblade has carefully constructed to protect himself is trembling in the face of these creatures and their whims.
