Summary
Jared Padalecki lives on a plot of land in the boondocks with his ever growing extended family; everyone is busy with their own lives and his parents barely acknowledge his existence. He knows there is more out there in the world but doesn't quite know how to find it.
On the occasion of his cousin's gender reveal party on a sweltering June day; all the family, bar the elders, gather together to celebrate. The grill is fired up, the cooler is filled with beer and Jared discovers that sometimes you don't have to go out into the world because sometimes 'the world' will come and find you. -

Summary
Jensen Ackles has always been 'good cop'; playing it by the book, single-handedly trying to encourage the public to trust in the police again and he's very good at his job. When he's called to a bloody crime scene, Jensen believes it to be just another murder for him to solve but it turns out to be an even bigger mess when he meets knife-wielding Jared Padalecki who tempts pretend heterosexual Jensen with forbidden fruit and a very forthright 'love' note. Jared breaks Jensen's organized brain, he turns his world upside down and Jensen switches from collecting clues to gathering together a very private collection of slutty little souvenirs.

When Mrs. Koch, one of 740’s most notorious residents returns to NYC for the holidays, Jensen once again suffers at her papery, wandering hands but Mrs. Koch, behind her obscene wealth and disregard for anyone below her had been harboring a secret – a stunning, devil-may-care grandson who was breaking the mold of what it meant to be generationally rich.

Summary
In a world where Eric Kripke declined to exist, two very handsome men found themselves struggling to find work in Hollywood; that's not to suggest that without Kripke's unhinged brain Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were incapable of it but for the sake of this festive story, they're terrible at it. Jensen is burnt out, Jared is selling his 'wares' to perverts and one summer in BC filming a crappy holiday movie was as good as it was going to get for them but then, something that is always true, J2 need to be made to kiss like Ken dolls and setting them up to fail is sometimes the only way to do it.
