"This is Damian" Talia says as she puts a hand on his shoulder. "After his allience with Bane, my father no longer considered Damian's lineage suitable for the Demon's Heir, casted him out of his family, removing him from under my protection as well."
She doesn't say more, but Tim's not stupid and he can read between the lines and the kid's, Damian's state speaks for itself. Tim is not overly familiar with the ways of the League, but he can imagine many disgruntled assasins would like to take their grudges against Ra's out on a kid who's no longer under the Demon's Head protection.
Or: Talia decides Damian can't stay with the League after the events of Legacy and Tim just happens to be in Paris at the right time to gain a little bother

Gen raised an eyebrow, playful mask sliding into place automatically. "Oho? Senku-chan wants a secret meeting? Should I be flattered or scared~?"
"Look," Senku started, exhaling sharply. "Sapphire's... persistent. She's starting to interfere with work. Keeps showing up during critical experiments. Distracts the team. I need her to back off."
Gen tilted his head, amused. "So tell her you're not interested. You're good at being direct, Senku-chan."
"I did. Multiple times. She thinks it's 'tsundere' or some nonsense. Village girls hear too many old romance stories or something." Senku grimaced. "Science doesn't have time for this drama."
Gen chuckled. "Poor Senku-chan, the heartthrob of the stone world. What do you want me to do? Hypnotize her? Stage a dramatic rejection scene?"
Senku looked at him then—really looked. And there was something vulnerable in those eyes. Fear? Anxiety? It was so out of place on Senku's face that Gen's teasing died in his throat.
"No," Senku said quietly. "I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend."
"Excuse me?"

In that moment, he couldn't hide his wonder and joy at being able to see the stars closer than was possible for over 3,000 years. Gen knew that Senku would never have taken the time to make an observatory simply for his own enjoyment; that's part of the reason Gen knew it would be the right gift for the man's birthday. Gen smiled knowingly,

Senku has never regretted a choice this much in his life. Genuinely.
The idea of spending the next several hours bundled in a suit, shirt buttoned all the way up and bowtie around his neck has him physically hurting, and he curses the day he agreed with Byakuya’s idea; sure, going to the party would allow him to obtain extremely useful connections and broaden his network, all at the single cost of having to spend the night wearing uncomfortable clothes and having even more uncomfortable conversations with rich, pompous people.

He could keep himself alive for a while longer, and if the cost of that was a few hands that lingered on his waist or brushed through his wings, that was fine.
If leading on countless suitors and suitresses was what it took to lay alone in bed a while longer, well, he could blush and offer a weak, shy smile as they were introduced.
