“Let’s go home, Felix,” Abby said softly, nudging him on the shoulder to get his attention.
He sniffled and lifted his head just enough to look at her with swollen, tear-filled eyes.
“Home?” he asked, his voice so small it barely sounded like him.
“Yes,” Abby whispered.
He looked down at his scraped hands, then back at her, confusion and grief tangled together in his expression.
“But my home is gone.”
The words were quiet, and somehow they struck harder than a scream ever could.Abigail Winters was many things, but definitely not stupid, just a little socially incompetent.
In a world where owning a hybrid was as ordinary as owning a pet, Abby had chosen a different path. She refused to keep a "pet" or in many cases, a "slave".
But when one day, a particular hybrid stumbles through the doors of her veterinary clinic, bleeding and visibly in pain, something deep within Abby shifted.

Well. That’s kind of the problem. Jisung’s lips land a little too close to his and he pulls back like he’s been burned.
“Changbin-hyung,” he says, “does – does he look good on his knees?”
Jeongin is an adult who is perfectly capable of having sex. His hyungs, much to his chagrin, would beg to differ.
