Summary
Ten years.
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for ten real-time years.
Then, during one of the thousands of hateful massacres that have played out, something changes.
Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.
No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.
This is their final shot.

Summary
If Clover is too afraid to die but has no idea how to live, what happens now? Clover doesn't know, he's just tired, tired, and scared of it all. But... he's staying with Miss Ceroba now, and things might still be a little scary, and fitting in as a human in the underground might be a little rough. But so what? He's still got friends, he's got a place he can call his own and he has a new face and a new name to keep him safe while he tries to figure everything out.
...but out of all the problems he could have expected, Clover beginning to like that new face and name a little too much was not one of them.

What if, one time, Flowey let Ceroba win the battle and take Clover's SOUL, to see what she'd do, and Ceroba then pushed it into Kanako before a RESET?

NOTE: DESPITE THE NAME, THIS IS NOT A PREQUEL TO UNITED! This is an entirely separate universe. Clover won't sacrifice themself.
Also, Clover's real name is Clover in this one, not Harry.
Also also, I'M SORRY! I'm a sucker for soul bond stories, and Undertale, its fangames, and Deltarune provide KEY opportunities for them. Yet no one takes them! It's... like an obligation, for me to take the chance! Though, I don't like stories where soul bonds are part of everyday life. I prefer ones where they're rare, but not unheard of, or the one focused on in the story is the first one ever heard of.
