Summary
Bucky Barnes is not living his best life; he’s stuck in a career he doesn’t like and his boyfriend is obsessed with an obscure superhero. No one has seen or heard from Steve Rogers in over four years, but that hasn’t stopped Bucky’s boyfriend from organizing a Steve Rogers fan club or hosting a weekly podcast focused on the life and times of the former Avenger. When shocking outtakes of Steve’s old PSAs surface, it starts a chain reaction that leads to unexpected revelations and a life-changing encounter with the elusive superhero himself.
Written for the 2020 ‘Not Another Stucky’ Big Bang, this story was inspired by the novel “Juliet, Naked” written by Nick Hornby.

Summary
He’s been obsessed with Derek Hale ever since he moved to Beacon Hills. He used to imagine running into him at coffee shops and becoming friends and then boyfriends. No matter that Derek Hale’s reputation as "Derek Hale: sex god" had already started garnering traction by the time Stiles got to high school with him. And plus, you know, there’s the whole straight thing. But Stiles always held out some hope, because Derek wouldn’t have been the first “straight” jock on the lacrosse team to bend him over. He wouldn’t even have been the second. He would have been the third. So, there was always that little inkling of want in the back of Stiles’ mind, but it never came to fruition. Derek Hale went on to sleep with lots and lots and lots of girls and never once did he even spare a glance at Stiles or run into him at a coffee shop.
And Stiles was sure, when he started at Beacon Hills University last year, that the chances were even slimmer, because this was college and there were twenty times as many students here as in high school. So, he quite confidently resigned himself to the fact that a relationship with Derek Hale would forever remain his deepest, darkest fantasy.
But then six days ago, he showed up to Am Lit.

Derek thinks that's what Stiles' full Polish name means. It's all he sees as Stiles says, “You know. I think I was wrong on both accounts." Before Derek can respond, Stiles continues, “Will you ask again? Properly.” Stiles glances to the side of the table. To the floor.
It's a test.
Derek takes his dead mother's ring. Gets down on one knee in front of Stiles, who generously makes room between his legs.
“Will you marry me?”
“Yes.”

Summary
Derek is tearing down the Hale house. Rebuilding on the foundation. He doesn't ask for help. Stiles shows up anyway — with a spreadsheet, a build schedule, and a group chat called "HGTV: Hell Edition."
Within six months, Stiles has nested so deeply into the territory that his scent is in the walls, he's wearing Derek's hoodies like they're his, and every wolf in the pack has quietly rearranged their life around him. He has no idea what he's doing. He thinks he's just the annoying human who does research.
Then the Alpha Council shows up, and an ancient Alpha names the thing everyone — except Stiles — has known for over a year.

Derek Hale is a Class Five Sentinel — one of the most powerful in federal service — and he's falling apart. Four years after his former Guide used their bond to crawl inside his head and sell state secrets through his senses, he's sworn off Guides entirely. But the longer he goes without one, the more his senses fragment: zone-outs, feral episodes, walls through which he puts various colleagues. The Bureau of Sentinel-Guide Affairs gives him an ultimatum — accept a new Guide or be locked in a containment facility for everyone's safety.
Enter Stiles Stilinski: newly manifested, top of his class, already fired from two field placements for being smarter than his supervisors and incapable of keeping that information to himself. Their compatibility index is ninety-fourth percentile. Their first meeting goes about as well as you'd expect.
This is a story about the difference between bonds that are taken and bonds that are chosen. About a man who learned that trust is a weapon, and the loudmouthed, gummy-bear-eating disaster of a Guide who teaches him it can also be a door.
