Sebek gazes out towards the sea, his loose hair rippling in the wind. He always gets like this when he sees the sea. Transfixed, staring at the horizon as the waves crash, mind somewhere so very far away from here.
Sometimes, Silver wonders if he's lost him entirely.

Silver snuggles in at Sebek's side on the sofa, a wave of contentment washing over him as he hands his husband a photo album wrapped with a simple green ribbon.
"What's this?" Sebek queries, wrapping his arm around Silver and letting his hand settle comfortably at Silver's waist like always.
"Father got us an anniversary gift." He murmurs softly in return, his head leaning against Sebek's shoulder. It was likely he'd be asleep within the hour if he remained like this, but sometimes indulgence wasn't so bad. "Want to look through it with me?"

Summary
There's a legend of something called The Returning Hero's Spring. The story says a hero chosen at a specific time can be brought back to life for a second chance, but only if someone is there to wish for it.
Cloud doesn't know what any of it means or why it seems to apply to any of the strange, sudden happenings around him. And if it takes too long for him to figure it out, he may miss his once in a lifetime chance to reunite with the man he loves.
