Summary
Getting sick in the military is extremely common. Colds get passed around in the barracks, making their way through the ranks until they finally die out. Soldiers often show up to training with the sniffles and sore throats. Being sick won’t make the enemy cut you any slack, so the military doesn’t cut you any slack either.
Though for Song, toughing it out began long before she joined the military. So if a broken bone or a bullet hole couldn’t stop her from doing her job, then neither could the flu or anything else.
Until it turns into something worse.

Summary
A collection of short stories about an original character (call sign "Songbird) in the Call of Duty universe. Really just indulgent stories that I write when I can't sleep or need a way to decompress. Updates will probably be sporadic, as I am still writing two other stories.
Warning: deals with themes of PTSD, OCD, canon typical violence and descriptions, blood. Nothing too graphic, I don't think, but read at your own discretion.
Mainly the stories revolve around Songbird and the 141 with themes of war, friendship, as well as the trigger warnings listed above. These stories are therapeutic for me, so they're not entirely militarily-accurate. The canon characters' personalities are a little blurred between the original Modern Warfare versions and the newer ones. I hope you enjoy!
