Summary
War brims on the horizon of Hallownest’s prestigious kingdom. The plague of that terrible god, the Radiance, has the citizens of Eternal in constant paranoia and fear as outbreaks increase. Criminals rampage in the streets, bringing with them their Colosseum of Fools, and all of its gambling, glory, and gore. And not far from Hallownest’s border, the storm of other gods rages on. Scarlet flames, and silk spun to strangle.
The knight, Hornet, and Tiso must each pave their own path as the situation in Hallownest worsens. An abandoned vessel; born as a tool, but seeking greater purpose through adventure and exploration. A reluctant heiress; tied between her regal responsibilities, and her ravenous thirst for combat. And a determined immigrant; rejected by his own kingdom, and out to prove his place in a society that would quickly devour him.
* TL;DR: An AU about Hallownest's collapse that places all Hollow Knight characters in the same time period. (Also I repurposed a lot of NPCs and villains to fit a new overarching narrative. Imagine Hollow Knight if it was by Brandon Sanderson.)

Summary
Things… change.
Ghost supposes that many would probably say that they get better. They do get better, don’t they? Yes, they do. Things change, and they are better. The Infection is gone, and Hollow is safe, and Hornet is happy, and so Ghost is fine. Perhaps they are selfish, and they mourn a dying world that they can never return to, and they are more alone than ever before, but they’ll get over it.
…And it’s not as if anyone will notice if they don’t.
Ghost goes back in time, kills the Radiance, and sets everything right. They tell no one, and do it on their own. It is only after their family is happy, and the kingdom is safe, and the Abyss is soothed to sleep, that they realize just how lonely it is as the last remaining piece of a future never to be.

Summary
During her travels, Hornet finds a mysterious shackle meant to bind malfunctioning automatons for future disassembly. Such a discovery would be insignificant — except more and more similar shackles keep appearing around the choral chambers, as if hunting a certain prey.
She's not the only one who has noticed. The Second Sentinel of Pharloom remembers such shackles from ages ago — and if their suspicion is correct, it is not just themselves who is in danger from an old hunter's obsession.
It will take both of their combined strength to combat this unseen foe…
(…and if that draws them closer together, well. That's just a bonus.)
