Summary
Castiel was a very old entity. He had been alive for a very long time and had seen quite a bit. He's seen warriors of old kingdoms, wise rulers, and some of the most wonderful and great people to walk the earth. Castiel had fought alongside angels and archangels alike. He was feared by monsters, angels and demons all around the world. He was truly a force to be reckoned with.
He was also currently being used as a pillow by Sam Winchester.

Summary
"I- okay," Dean relented, "just, what did that crazy British bitch want?"
"She had some questions about hunters in America."
"But what sort of questions? What did she want to know so desperately that it was worth kidnapping and torturing you to obtain?" Dean asked.
Sam looked at the floor, anxiety in his veins. "Why do you want to know?"
Dean furrowed his brow. "What do you mean, 'Why do I want to know?'" Dean asked.
"She wanted to know."

Summary
Sam nodded, turned, and was about to continue down the hall, hardly breathing, when Dean spoke again. "But, of course, and I feel dumb for asking this, that second bag isn't for Jack, now, is it?"
"What? No, of course not. Jack- Jack needs to stay in the box. He needs to be contained."
"I know that. And I know that you know that. Or I hope you understand that." Dean agreed.
"Right." Sam nodded, his heart hammering in his chest, turning to face his brother.
"So, and last question Sammy, if I went down to the garage with you, you would just leave for Missouri, right? Just you?"
"Dean, who else would be with me? You're here, Cas is out, and Jack is locked up."
"Right, well, you won't mind me seeing my little brother off, would you?" Dean asked.
Dean knows something's up. He has to. Sam jerkily nodded. "Yeah, yeah, no problem."
"Good."

Summary
The pencil skitters across the table, little more than an inch.
(A phantom thrill races through Sam's blood.)
“You did it!” Sam sends Jack a grin, slightly bewildered. Kid’s a fast learner. “Great job, Jack.”
Contrary to the pride Sam expects to see on Jack’s face, there is instead confusion. “That… wasn’t me.”
“What?” Sam’s gaze slides back to the pencil, the innocuous object, close enough to touch. His heart is beating in his ears, staggered, animalistic. “Then how…?”
“You didn’t tell me you had powers too!” Jack says with an excited grin, leaning forward with his elbows on the table. The Nephilim’s childish expression is floating on the edges of Sam’s vision, distorted. Everything feels far away, unreal, dimmed by the echo of pure power running through his veins.
“I don’t—shouldn’t,” he manages to stammer out. His blood is humming just like it used to, alight with the power, and Sam thinks he might throw up. “Not anymore."
Sam’s powers resurface when he tries to train Jack, and he is forced to confront a decade of shame and self-hatred. If Jack, the son of Lucifer, is good, then maybe Lucifer’s demon blood-infested vessel can be too.

Summary
“What happened?” Eileen asked. “Why are you so jumpy?”
Sam shrugged, though she could see the worry in his eyes. “I don’t know,” he said. “That witch… he threw something at my feet and then all of a sudden, I was just overtaken by fear. And now… I’m scared of everything.”
Sam gets cursed on a hunt, but thankfully, Eileen is there to help him.
