Today was a lovely day for a leisurely spring walk, in the opinion of a diamond eyed knight. The sun was almost overhead. The soft breeze from his window kissed his skin in reverence as if he were a rosary. A few birds chattered with jubilancy. It was weather that most people would take even a little time out of their schedule to enjoy; much more enticing than staying cooped up inside with this month’s paperwork.
So he found it quite odd to see a ragged body hiding away in the bushes just as he began his midday stroll.

Naturally, Legend concludes there is a secret hero club and he has not been invited.

Summary
The cultural learning curve, and the processing of...all of it.
It’s a learning process, trying to acclimate to the Ground’s customs when all Rudo has ever known is the culture in the sky. It’s a learning process the other way around, too. The Cleaners want to know about him as much as he them.
It’s also a learning process trying to navigate it all without Regto. Somehow, the memories of his dad are still everywhere, even now. All he can ever do now is hold on to them and try to stay afloat.

Piercing cries, overwhelming tantrums, and the strange language they seem to speak all confuse him, wear down his patience, and -at worst- make him feel useless and out of place. And yet, through a series of unforeseen incidents, he ends up becoming the babysitter of the youngest member of the Akuta team.
