Summary
What if Amalthus awoke Mythra instead? What if the personality that corrupted Malos' will corrupted Mythra's instead, leaving Addam, and therefore Rex, with the Aegis of the Endbringer, rather than the Lifebearer?
An attempt to faithfully rewrite the story of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, with the change of Malos in Mythra's place. In Pyra's place, is an Aegis with water abilities known as Typhos. Malos gains the belief that his power of destruction is unneeded in the world, and dilutes it. Addam sinks Typhos in the Tornan warship, as he did with Pyra, only for its contents to resurface due to the aid of a certain salvager.
