Summary
A collection of small stories, mostly regarding Vessel and his strange, probably toxic but also ancient and unknowable god. Mostly quiet slice-of-life, thoughtful introspection, and metaphors in the shape of oceans; there's some multi-story plot-driven things as well, which lean more towards liminal horror.
I like to experiment with writing styles in this series, going for more loosely-structured to hard frameworks, as each story needs.
(also, as an aside: this is not RPF/bandfic, but the stage personas and characters only.)

Summary
They held a warm, gentle gaze for a moment, but II's face slowly fell. "Is it lonely, being a vampire?"
Oh. Yeah, that would make his face fall; it made Vessel's smile drop a little too. "Sometimes," said Vessel. "I've got Sleep, he's got the night shift doctors he's got a deal with, sometimes we'll see a few night owls passing us by, and of course we've got to go out and hunt, so we'll meet people... but yeah, sometimes it gets lonely."
They sat in silence for a little while, with II's ear pressed into Vessel's chest. Finally, he asked, "Do you have a heartbeat?"
"Yeah," said Vessel. "It's just harder to hear unless I'm actively feeding. You can hear it if you listen hard for it."
or: Vessel goes into a frat party for a quick bite and leaves with a new friend.
