On the summer of his 17th birthday, an accident left Reki Kyan parentless and with an incapacitated guardian. With three underaged toddlers, and a Canadian doctor who is somehow kind enough to arrange for him to follow their grandmother to Canada for treatment, he moves over to Canada.
