Harry Potter wakes to a nightmare: every word out of his mouth comes out in Parseltongue. No curse, no spell, no cure — just hissing. As Hogwarts panics, Harry navigates fear, isolation, and a translation scroll that insists on tattling on him at the worst possible moments.
Enter Luna Lovegood, who seems to understand more than she should, and a chorus of castle-dwelling snakes who immediately decide Harry is their long awaited deity.
