Loyalty, Valor, Honor, Perseverance. Words spoken often of the Romulius House; a once powerful and noble family that has loyally served the Mede Dynasty for the last 200 years yet was decimated by the Great War, leaving behind two siblings who knew only the aftermath of that bloodshed and that they must continue through whatever hardships were bestowed upon them, by the Gods, Man and Mer. Life spiraled out of control and all he wanted was to protect her. Valerius’s attempt to see Lucretia far from the clutches of abuse ends with them torn apart for months yet again. As she attempts to make a life for herself in the hostile north, Lucretia wills herself to remain strong all while waiting for her brother to find her. Then myths and legends came back to life rendering all she knew to ashes.
