Summary
Blood drips down his forehead.
He blinks to clear his vision, but the stream of blood seals his left eye shut. He shifts uneasily, turning his head to keep the bounty hunter in his line of sight.
The dark blue armor glints dully under the cloudy sky, and wind blows sand in lazy circles around them. A black shriek hawk symbol stands out starkly in gold paint on the hunter’s chest plate. The hunter steps forward deliberately. Obi-wan holds his ground, determined to protect the shallow cave opening behind him.
Dimly, he registers the swelling sound of drums.

“Then, what’s troubling you?” Feemor asks gently. He’s set down his drink and simply waits for Obi-wan to speak.
It takes Obi-wan a long moment to return Feemor’s gaze.
“Did you know? When the Council of Mastery reviewed my file on your recommendation, did you know?”
“Know what?”
“That I am Qui-gon Jinn’s padawan?”
“Ah,” Feemor grimaces, “So they told you? That I was Jinn’s first padawan.”
Obi-wan nods. Feemor takes a swig of beer as if to chase away a foul aftertaste.

Summary
Out of the darkness a small figure ambles across the plaza.
Immediately, Obi-wan focuses on it, sensing a muffled presence in the Force. Slowly the little figure totters its way towards them in a meandering walk. Obi-wan frowns. The figure’s force signature is odd but also familiar. It’s muffled as if obscured by layers of fabric, the edges dissipating into vague nothingness.
The figure steps into a puddle of streetlights, and the light glints off metal armor painted a dull green.
A Mandalorian.

Summary
“Excuse me, I’d like to commission a repair.” The man says, smiling politely if thinly.
Cody shrugs, “Depends on the repair, we handle any job on a case-by-case basis. What do you need?”
The man pulls out a heart from the inner pocket of his vest. It’s battered, scuffed, and missing a few screws. A little tendril of smoke drifts from the ventricle port. The blue paint is faded enough for the original gunmetal to show through. A thin gold chain attached to the heart trails back into the vest.
Cody whistles appreciatively. “What splendid craftsmanship! May I?” She gestures towards the heart.
The man nods, and Cody carefully picks up the heart, detaching it from the chain with a little click. She examines each facet carefully with a magnifying glass. Flipping a tiny latch, the front of the heart pops open. More smoke billows out in a tiny smokestack drifting towards the ceiling.

Summary
When a simple C-rank mission turns into a straight-up nightmare, the members of Team Seven narrowly escape with their lives. They end up stuck in the middle of nowhere, each of them injured and forced to rely on one another for help.
They’ve only been a team for a couple of weeks, still distant from one another, still trying hard to prove themselves. But when they’re all hurt and struggling desperately to survive, they have no choice but to lower their walls.
Stranded far away from the village, Team Seven fights to get back home safely – but with help impossibly far away, with their food supplies shrinking and with their injuries slowing them down, their journey becomes more difficult with every step.
In the wake of their struggle, though, their bonds grow steadily stronger.
