Ten years after Arcadia Bay, Max accepts a job position as an artist-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University in Vermont. Already troubled by being in a teacher-like position, Max is thrust into a mentor role when her new close friend Safi awakens dormant reality manipulation abilities and needs someone to help her learn to control them. The last experience Max had with a teacher, Jefferson, hanging heavily over her head, Max must help Safi master her powers before reality tears itself apart.
(Our timeline is torn into two halves; one where Safi is alive, and one where she isn’t. Max doesn’t know what she’s more afraid of— reality folding in on itself, or Jefferson’s memory as it infects her ability to teach.)

Double Exposure [The Rewrite]
Ten years after Arcadia Bay, Max accepts a job position as an artist-in-residence at the prestigious Caledon University in Vermont. Right as the winter semester is about to end, Max’s new close friend Safi dies at the same time someone rips the timeline into two halves; one where Safi is alive, and one where she isn’t. Max has to figure out who on campus ripped apart time (and therefore is time-touched like Max is), what it has to do with Safi’s death, and mend the timeline, all before another storm occurs.
(Max is thrust into a mentor position and is confronted with feelings about her time in the Dark Room that she hasn’t processed until now.)
