He was already much taller than him and seemed so much taller like this. “You wanna show me?”“Show you… what?” Sweat dripped down his lower back and his pusher picked up pace, beating hard in his chest. The bootleg threshecutioners uniform he wore felt like it was weighing him down.
“Show me that you can be a good little soldier.”

Karkat had been captured. Barely a sweep after his generation had been conscripted by the Alternian Navy, after he'd escaped and hidden away on a backwater planet with other deserters and undesirables, they’d all been sold out to the Empire. He'd been taken prisoner by subjugglators in the attack, given as tribute to the Grand Highblood, and then gifted to his descendent. A clown with heavy eyes and a painted-on smile, who–-instead of killing him for the sin of his mutant biology–-decides to keep him as a pet.

Summary
It reminded him of all those small skittering creatures he would see near the water, clad in shells or discarded bottles and garbage, trying desperately to protect themselves from the harsh environment of an Alternian beach. Not that it ever seemed to help as he so often found their shells broken open, the creature inside made into a meal by all manner of predators. Himself included.

He should be worried, he thinks. Anyone could come by and see them like this, could see him naked with Gamzee kneeling between his legs. But it was hard to focus on anything other than Gamzee, on his mouth. His mutated color, so bright on a subjugglators fangs. It made his pusher stutter, something dark squeezing his chest making it hard to breathe.
