The real, present Wukong would only look at him with jeering, mocking contempt, to which Macaque would return with an equally mocking smirk that twitched with seething rage.)

The slight recoil from the spells pushes it far enough toward the ledge for it to land, and with little delay it brushes past her, continuing forward as if nothing happened.
Hornet sputters and whips around. The vessel disappears behind elevated chunks of stone pathways, the sounds of aggravated squits, charging moss chargers, and nail swings following its wake.
