Summary
In the scorching expanse of the merciless Si Wong Desert, two enemies find their fates unexpectedly intertwined. Prince Zuko, having finally abandoned his futile hunt for the Avatar and severed ties with his uncle, wanders the wasteland with nothing but regrets and his stolen ostrich horse. When he discovers Katara collapsed and dying in the sand, he makes a choice that defies everything he's been: he saves her.
Now bound by a lie, the exiled prince and the waterbender must travel together to Ba Sing Se, navigating a fragile alliance built on shared loss, desperate necessity, and the slim hope that doing one right thing might matter in a world defined by war.

Summary
‘The Chemistry of Cooking,’ wasn’t exactly rocket science, but it wasn’t going to be a total cake walk, either. Well, except maybe in week 8 — that was when they were supposed to be baking cakes. The instructor tells them to pair up, and the girl in front of him turns around.
Zuko panics. This girl is way prettier than he expected, and now she is smiling at him hopefully.
“Do you have a partner?” she asks.
“No.”
“…Do you want to be partners?”
College AU where Zuko and Katara are chemistry 'lab' partners. Zuko will get more than he bargained for by saying yes.

Summary
It was a brilliant plan, all things considered.
On paper and in the eyes of the public, they were a charming if oddly mismatched couple who somehow found love despite their differences. A fairy tale come to life, sighed the more romantic members of Ba Sing Se society.
So it was almost a shame that Katara's courtship with Prince Zuko was ultimately nothing more than an act - otherwise, they might have been a perfect match, if not the perfect partners in crime.
