Summary
It's no secret that Soap was adopted, and never knew the love and care of his Omega mother. He's talked about it before, with no trace of sadness or wistfulness; his family had been close-knit and good to him, never once making him feel like an outsider among his red-haired, green-eyed sisters, his adopted mother, his stern but loving adopted father.
It fills Ghost with the desire to care for him, to give him all that Omega sweetness he's surely missed. He loves Soap so much it drives him mad, sometimes. Makes him want to unhinge his jaw and swallow Soap whole, keep him safe and warm in the cradle of his hips, the swell of his belly. Some latent, tender instinct like a broken bone that will never completely heal.
