Jason was picturing a young, petulant boy who was in his rebellious phase against his father.
Picture his surprise when Hades called in his son and he was the face Jason had definitely seen on a magazine before. Multiples of them, all in his dentist's waiting room. Nico was young, mid twenties. He was dressed in black formals, looking between Hades and Jason disapprovingly. He walked over, leaning on his dad's desk.
"Are you shitting me?" Nico hissed, voice as smooth as Jason would've imagined.
Hades tsked. "Language, please."
"Are you pooping me?"
"That is not better."

Will’s skin made contact with his, and the next moment was a blur of cold steel beneath his hand and swift momentum and a cry of pain that didn’t come from Nico.
When Nico finally focused his eyes, breathing hard and fast, Will had retreated to the doorway. His hand was shaking, and his eyes were wide. Hurt.
It was then that Nico noticed the line of red trailing down his face, and the sword still in Nico’s hand.
They locked eyes for just a moment. Then, the door whipped shut, and Will was gone.
