Peter takes his hand, helping him stand. "I'm fine, Matt. We're alone. But we- we aren't where we're supposed to be."
Matt frowns, head tilting. "Did the portal teleport us to a different part of the city?" Peter presses his lips into a thin line, rubbing the back of his head in thought.
Strange said it was meant to send the other versions of him back to their rightful universes — but what did that mean for someone who was already in their universe?
The answer? Nothing good.

Summary
Peter Parker's life is turned upside down when a malfunction in one of Tony Stark's experimental teleportation projects sends him across dimensions. One moment he's helping Tony in the lab, and the next he's waking up alone in a rain-soaked alley in a city he's never seen before.
Gotham.
Lost, stranded, and unable to contact home, Peter quickly realizes something is terribly wrong. Nobody has heard of Tony Stark, Stark Industries, the Avengers, or even New York's most famous landmarks. As he struggles to understand what happened, he finds himself crossing paths with Gotham's vigilantes—starting with Red Hood, who is convinced the strange teenager wandering through Crime Alley is hiding something.
Peter desperately wants to find a way back to his own world, but surviving Gotham proves difficult when he has no suit, no resources, and no idea who he can trust. Worse, the longer he stays, the more attention he attracts from both Gotham's heroes and its criminals.

When Peter Parker sees the man who has become his dad wielding the Infinity Gauntlet alone, he thinks "Hell no!" and grabs his hand just as he snaps. And because the Infinity Stones listen to the wishes of those that wield them, neither Peter nor Tony dies. Instead, they wake up in an alleyway smelling things they shouldn't be able to, de-aged to thirteen and thirty-three respectively, and somehow pick up the title of the Godfather and the Godson as they maneuver this hostile city.
