Summary
At Atlantis High, there is a social order. At the top of the food-chain are the quarterback Luke Castellan and his girlfriend the co-captain of the cheerleaders Thalia Grace. King and queen of Atlantis High.
Then comes the head of the student council Annabeth Chase, who had been taken under their wings when she had started at the school. And her boyfriend, captain of the swim-team and sweetheart of everyone - Percy Jackson. Princess and prince of Atlantis High.
Percy is not a good student though and when his grades drop too much, he risks being kicked out of the swim-team, so Mister Blofis assigns him a tutor. Nico di Angelo.
Nico is an outcast, together with the other so-called Misfits. He hates the school and its 'royals'. But what if, as Percy's tutor, he learns that all the perfect smiles are really just to cover up a dark secret...? Summary
The second he heard the prayer, and the little offering of orange slices, he knew the child was his brothers son. A child that shouldn't exist. He was stunned. For a moment, all he knew was rage, and then he heard the prayer,
King Zeus, please give me the frame of mind to pass judgment fairly instead of acting with my fists first.
It was worded like a young child. It wasn't what his prayers were about, in this day in age, when he got them. It gave him pause.

Nico is a dangerous and powerful vampire lord. And then he has a run-in with vampire hunters and, in his bat-form, loses conscience and crashes on a balcony.
